There are four blood types: O, A, B, and AB. According to the book "Eat Right for Your Type" by Dr. Peter D'Adamo, some foods react differently with our bodies depending on our blood type. These reactions can be allergic reactions such as headaches, rashes, or slight stomach aches, or good reactions, keeping your blood flow constant and your energy levels high. Based on your blood type, there are certain foods that are recommended that work best with your body and its blood type. The blood type diet has been used mostly for weight loss reasons, sometimes leaving the patient undergoing the diet unsatisfied. Because the diet is a fairly new discovery and has yet to be scientifically proven to be true, some diets and recommendation lists are still being updated and manipulated.
