The Blood Type O Diet
Type O is the oldest known blood type. As you may know, blood types have changed throughout history, because human habits of excercise and eating have changed as time has progressed.
RecommendationsAs stated in the "Eat Right for Your Type" book by Dr. D'Adamo, type O is a high protein diet. D'Adamo reccommends that type O's go light on grains, beans, and dairy, but eat plenty of lean meat, poultry, fish, and vegetables.
Type O Diet LayoutIf you are a blood type O, you have no antigens on your blood cell. This means, first of all, that your blood doesn't react with any other bloods so type Os are the universal donors. All blood cells, no matter the blood type have fucose on them (a basic blood sugar).

Type O BackgroundAccording to Dr. D'Adamo's wesite, it is the only blood type that carries two opposing blood type antibodies (one blood type A and another against blood type B).
Type O Excercise and Healthy HabitsBlood type O's are encouraged to do more stress-oriented exercises such as running and plyometrics (according to prevention.com). D'Adamo says in the More magazine that type O's have "more physical strength, and needs exercise to release stress, worries, fears and anxieties". Also in the More Magazine, he says that it is better if a type O exercises in the morning so that the rest of the day is mostly stress-free.
